Garage conversion in Frome — unused space transformed into a proper living area. New floor, insulated walls, full electrics and plumbing.
The challenge
The garage was a cold, damp shell with a concrete floor and no insulation. The client needed it to become genuine living space — warm, bright, and indistinguishable from the rest of the house. That means dealing with damp-proofing, thermal efficiency, building regs, and making the conversion feel like it was always part of the home, not a afterthought tacked on the side.
How we executed it
Full damp-proof course and insulated floor slab. Internal wall insulation throughout. New window and door replacing the garage door opening. Electrics, plumbing, and heating tied into the existing system. Plastered, decorated, and finished to match the rest of the property.
