The brief
Stone garden wall built from the ground up — proper foundations, natural Bath stone, and landscaping that ties the whole garden together.
The challenge
A garden wall that lasts needs proper foundations — not just a trench and some mortar. Ground preparation, drainage behind the wall, stone laid in courses that hold their line, and pointing that weathers rather than washes out. Then landscaping around it so the wall looks like it was always there.
How we executed it
Site cleared and levels set. Foundations dug and poured. Natural stone built in courses with drainage built in behind. Pointing finished to match the surroundings. Landscaping tied back in — levels, planting, and hard standing so the wall sits naturally in the garden rather than looking bolted on.
